These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the basis on which Major Car Parts (“we”, “us” or “our”) makes this website available to you and supplies our car parts and in-house workshop services — parts fitting, body repair and spray paint. Please read them carefully. By using this website, requesting a quote, placing an order or asking us to carry out work, you agree to these Terms.

Please note this website is a demonstration site. The business details below are genuine, but some online features (such as forms) may direct you to contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email rather than completing a transaction through the site itself.

About these terms

These Terms apply to your use of this website and to any enquiry, quote, order or work you ask us to provide. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle your personal data and use cookies.

We may also agree specific arrangements with you in writing — for example, a confirmed quote, an invoice or a trade account — for a particular order or job. Where there is any conflict, the specific terms we confirm with you for that order or job take precedence over these general Terms for that matter.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Using this website

We provide this website to share information about our parts, our workshop services and how to reach us. We work to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we give no guarantee that the content is complete, current or error-free, and the site is provided on an “as available” basis.

In return for using this website, you agree that you will:

• use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms;
• not misuse the site by knowingly introducing viruses or other harmful material, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
• not copy, reproduce or republish content from the site except as permitted under the Intellectual property section below.

We may update, suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of this website at any time without notice. We will not be liable if the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Parts, quotes & availability

We supply genuine and quality parts for a wide range of makes — including Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Tesla, Range Rover and Ford, among many others. All parts are subject to availability. Where an item is not in stock, we will do our best to source it for you, but we cannot guarantee that any particular part will be available.

Any quotes or estimates we give you — whether for parts, fitting, body repair or spray paint — are provided in good faith on the basis of the information you give us at the time. Quotes and estimates are indicative only and are not binding until confirmed by us. The final price may change if, for example, the vehicle details turn out to differ, additional work or parts are needed, or supplier prices change. We will let you know before carrying out work or supplying parts that fall outside an agreed quote.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£ GBP). Unless we state otherwise, prices, descriptions and images on this website and in any listing are for guidance and do not form a binding offer. A contract is formed only once we confirm your order or quote with you.

Vehicle parts must be correctly matched to your vehicle. We will always try to confirm fitment from the make, model, year and other details you provide, so please give us accurate information — including registration or VIN where relevant — so we can supply the right part first time.

Orders & delivery

You can order parts from us by phone, WhatsApp or email, and we will confirm price, availability and how you would like to receive the part. We offer fast UK delivery on stocked parts, with free shipping on orders over £80. You are also welcome to collect in person from our unit on Chadwell Heath Industrial Park.

Many of our parts are also listed on our eBay store. If you order through eBay, the relevant eBay terms and that platform’s buyer protection also apply to your purchase, in addition to these Terms where applicable. You can browse the store here: our eBay store.

Delivery timescales are estimates and are not guaranteed, as dispatch and carrier timings can be affected by factors outside our control. Risk in the parts passes to you on delivery or collection. Where you are a consumer, your statutory rights — including in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods — are unaffected by these Terms.

Workshop services

Alongside supplying parts, our in-house workshop provides parts fitting, body repair and spray paint services. We will carry out any work we agree to provide with reasonable care and skill, using our experience built up over more than 15 years in the automotive trade.

Before we start work, we will agree with you what is to be done. Some jobs — particularly body repair, accident damage and respray work — can only be fully assessed once work is under way; if we find that additional parts or work are needed, we will discuss this with you before going ahead so you can decide how to proceed.

So that we can plan the work, please contact us in advance to book a vehicle in rather than arriving unannounced. You are responsible for removing personal belongings from the vehicle before any work; we cannot accept responsibility for items left inside it.

Where parts you supply yourself are fitted at your request, our responsibility is limited to the fitting work we carry out, and not to the quality, suitability or performance of parts we did not supply.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website — including the text, graphics, layout, design, the Major Car Parts name and logo, and the arrangement of all of these — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and print extracts from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with a genuine interest in our parts and services. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any part of this website without our prior written permission.

Vehicle manufacturer names, brand names and trade marks referred to on this website are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the vehicles for which parts and services are offered. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those manufacturers.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. In particular, we do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, we will not be liable for any loss or damage that is not a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or of our negligence, nor for any business losses, as our parts and services are supplied for your own private and domestic use unless we have expressly agreed otherwise (for example, under a trade arrangement).

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier or carrier delays, shortages of parts, or other circumstances beyond our control.

This website may contain links to third-party websites and resources — for example, our eBay store, map and directions services, or messaging platforms such as WhatsApp. These links are provided for your convenience only.

We have no control over the content, policies or availability of third-party sites and we do not endorse them or accept responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Your use of any third-party site is subject to that site’s own terms and privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our practices or the law. Governing law

These Terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the laws of England & Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England & Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our parts and services. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts, and nothing here affects your rights under mandatory local law.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, and Saturday, 8:30am–12:30pm. We are closed on Sundays.
